434 CU. IN. CHEVROLET ENGINE -- NATURALLY ASPIRATED 825+ DYNO HP!

The engine was built for Ted by Steve Martinson, Thunder Custom Auto (TCA) in Idaho Falls, Idaho. TCA was recommended to Ted by World Products, manufacturer of world class high performance engine blocks, cylinder heads and intake manifolds for both street and race applications.

Thunder Custom Auto specializes in building high performance GM, Ford, and Chrysler engines. Founded in 2009 by the Martinson family, TCA has over 30 years of experience in building these types of engines.

Based on Ted's computer analysis, he needed an unblown engine that did not exceed the SCTA engine B class displacement range of 373 to 439.99 cubic inches, and put out at least 800 HP to power the car to 260 mph. So a World Products Chevrolet block 434 cu.in. with SB2.2 heads combination was built by TCA ... and the result was 825+ dyno horsepower! Torque and HP at 6500 rpm, 605 lbft, 741 hp. At 7500 rpm, torque curve peaks at a 566 lbft and with horsepower curve still rising, 808 hp+. Horsepower at 7800+ rpm, 825+ hp.
